Thank you for your interest in HorseMarines.com!
This website serves, for the time being, as a memorial for my late mother “Miss Jerri” Camarco, the 1st female civilian to train USMC and other U.S. military entities as mounted police patrol units for the United States Dept. of Defense.
After Jerri’s ashes are finally laid to rest in the Summer of 2o24 at the Byrd family plot in her home state of Texas, I will be developing this website, which I co-founded with my late mother, with USMC Horse Marines historic content sourced by her research and personal accounts of hands-on experience as a trainer of mounted military police patrols and testimonies of some of the men and women who served as the modern Horse Marines.
Please bookmark this site to check back in the future for new Horse Marines material.
Semper Fi,
Lea Savoy
